Located in the historic Plagne 1800, our grand chalet is sitting at 1850 m of elevation. At this extremely high altitude, we can guarantee plentiful snowfall from the beginning of December all the way through the end of April. Our chalet is a truly ski in ski out chalet with direct access to two main chair lifts in the Paradiski area. You will go 200 meters from the chalet and immediately hit the blue run that leads directly to the Mélèzes chairlift and the Plagne 1800 chairlift.
Our premium self catered chalet for rent is in the perfect location for a wonderful vacation in the Alps. Chalet Dakota is situated in the middle of luxury chalets and alpine forest with jaw dropping views of the well groomed slopes. Although you feel you are in nature, far away from the rest of civilization, the chalet is very close to the center of Plagne 1800.
The SPAR supermarket is just a 3 minute walk and 150 m from the chalet via a small foot path. About 5 minutes away, you will reach the fresh bread shop, Les Délices de la Mère Boudu. In the ski resort center, you will also find the tourism office and shops renting ski equiment.
At the bottom of the ski lifts, on the snow front you will find the Paradiski skipass shop and ESF ski school. At the chairlift pass shop, you can get ski packages anywhere from half a day to a season pass. The ESF ski school is the perfect place for both beginners and those trying to improve their skiing and snowboarding skills. There are both group lessons and individual lessons available in English for all ages.

Au pied des remontées mécaniques, sur le front de neige, vous trouverez le magasin des forfaits Paradiski et l'école de ski et de snowboard ESF. À la boutique des forfaits de télésiège, vous pouvez obtenir des forfaits de ski allant d'une demi-journée à un abonnement pour la saison hiver. L'école de ski est l'endroit idéal pour les débutants et ceux qui souhaitent se perfectionner en ski et en snowboard. Des cours collectifs et des cours individuels sont disponibles en anglais pour tous les âges pour skiers et snowboarders.

Our luxury chalet in Savoie is the perfect place for large groups wishing to share warm moments in a winter wonderland. Chalet Dakota was recently renovated in 2022 to ensure a state of the art lodging experience.
Built with noble materials such as old wood and stone, Chalet Dakota is comprised of 4 floors. On the ground floor you will find a state of the art sauna, spacious ski room and a cozy TV room. Our sauna is made of the finest red cedar wood and has the capacity to hold up to 5 guests. A warm sauna is the best way to relax your muscles and warm up after a long day on the groomed slopes. The grand ski room has ample space for all the equipment you need for your luxury ski holiday. Store your skis, snowboards, poles, snowshoes and any other gear you may have.
Additionally, the ski room comes with a snow boots and gloves dryer to ensure you are ready and dry for the next day ahead. Our comfortable TV room comes equipped with all the latest and greatest media. There is a wide array of DVDs along with the ability to connect to Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Orange TV. Additionally, there is the ability to connect your gaming devices. On the first floor, the chalet has 2 bedrooms and a laundry room. The Frisbee room and Mio room both come with 1 valet sized bed with room for 2 guests. Each room also has its own toilet and bathroom attached. The laundry room comes with both a washing machine and a dryer. There are also drying racks and an ironing board.
On the second floor, you can find an spacious and bright living area. This area consists of a living room, an open kitchen, a dining area and a child living room. The living room has comfortable lounging around a wood burning fireplace in a warm and inviting atmosphere. This is the perfect place for you and your guests to enjoy a game or hot drink after a long day on the mountain. Our spacious kitchen is ideal for preparing a large meal together and is outfitted with all the necessary and luxury appliances you would need during your winter holiday. Our chalet comes with a large refrigerator, two dishwashers, two ovens, a microwave, a large hob, a freezer, a traditional fondue and raclette kit, a toaster, a coffee maker, and an espresso machine.
On the third floor, you will find the 4 remaining bedrooms each outfitted with their own bathroom and toilet. The bathrooms are equipped with modern fixtures and luxurious amenities such as whirlpool baths, walk-in showers, and heated towel rails
By having different floors for the bed rooms and common areas, you can maintain a certain level of privacy in the bedrooms while allowing for moments to be shared in the living spaces.

At the spa, enjoy panoramic views of the mountain while enjoying the pool, the family spa area and the premium spa area focused on tranquility and peace. This luxurious spa is easily reached in 5 minutes by shuttle. At the Olympic bobsled track, you can descend on a self guided luge at 80 km/h. For ice skating there are multiple great options near the chalet.
In the summer months, when the snow has melted, you can enjoy hiking, biking, a Via Ferrata, white water rafting and many more activities. There are many well marked trails for your summer adventure in the French Alps.
