How to get access to la Plagne and Chalet Dakota ?
By car
Take the A43 Alps motorway to Albertville - RN90 (2 * 2 lanes) to Aime-La-Plagne then Route de la Plagne (D221) to the "Bellecôte roundabout" serving either Plagne Centre, or Plagne Bellecôte. Then head towards Plagne Centre and after 20 m, turn right towards the dead end. The chalet is approximately 200 m further down on your left.

The chalet has a private parking space in front of the chalet, but there are public covered and outdoor car parks in the immediate vicinity of the chalet (refer to map of Plagne 1800 ski resort). Our chalet is close to shops, allowing you to avoid using your car throughout the week.
By train
The Aime-Macôt-La-Plagne train station is located in the Tarentaise valley, in the heart of the Alps, only 15 km from the chalet. Schedule your transfer from the station to the chalet by taxi (around 25 min) or shuttle (around 45 min). By shuttle bus from the station, ask for the "Rond-Point de Bellecôte" stop, just above Plagne 1800 and take the small tarmac dead end for about 200m. The chalet will be on your left.

Our mountain chalet is located on the heights of the Plagne 1800 ski resort, just 150 metres from the ski slopes of the Paradiski ski area. The blue run then descends to the snow front, the ski schools (ESF) and the ski lifts of Plagne 1800.
From the heart of this village resort, the chalets are easily accessible by a small footpath that goes up through the fir trees behind the SPAR supermarket. Most of these chalets for rent in the Alps are owned by the families who built these chalets when the resort was launched in the 1980s.
Plagne 1800 offers the best of both worlds. On one hand, the resort is simple and warm, located in the high mountains, in the heart of the Alps, in the middle of the fir trees, at an altitude of 1800 meters (guaranteed snow on Paradiski), with a beautiful panorama of Mont Blanc and offers essential services (supermarket, ski rental shop, bars, restaurants, ski pass purchase). On the other hand, it is located only 3 minutes by shuttle and about twenty minutes on foot from a chalet to rent in Plagne Centre. This gives easy access to all winter sports and all the services of Plagne Centre, including the cinema, bowling, nursery and dozens of food shops.
